From running to walking

I have been running for a long time, weekly and often daily. I have also had to start, restart and follow a plan to run more, longer, longer distances or to get back into it because I had to stop running for X amount of time.

In short, I am not a champion runner. But I am a champion of perseverance. I'm back to running. And I've been doing it again and again since the beginning, this progression plan from walking to running.

A plan to progress slowly but surely towards continuous running. With every injury, fall, end of season, in other words, every time running training comes to an end, then you have to take it easy for the recovery.

"How is your running progress?" is a question I am frequently asked. The truth is that I run when I'm at my best, the rest of the time I'm progressing, otherwise it's injury guaranteed for me.

Running is a very special sport because it demands a lot from our bodies. Our body has to be used to the stress of the impact on our bones, muscles, ligaments, etc. We have to go gradually. You have to go gradually. And after a few weeks, you think back to those days when getting dressed and putting on your "running shoes" was LONGER than the prescribed few minutes of running.

You think back to the joy of running with flexibility and strength. And finally, with perseverance, you manage to propel yourself forward with ease! It's an incredible feeling! .

I would like to give you the gift of sharing this programme with you! A gift that I hope will do you as much good as it did me!

It was designed by the excellent "coach" Anastasia Polito. Feel free to follow it and take it easy, progressing, while listening to your body. You can even take as much time as you want to increase the volume. You can repeat the same workout several times if it is too difficult. The most important thing is the happiness you get from it day after day and the satisfaction of achieving yourself, of expressing yourself through physical activity.

I wish you all a GREAT and very ENJOYABLE walking/running activity.

Please feel free to give us your feedback or ask questions. We are always happy to hear or read from you.
